Many organizations accept donated cars. Community Auto puts them into the hands of local families who need cars to get to work. Buyers receive their cars with a valid inspection sticker, 1-year AAA membership, 6-month warranty, full tank of gas, and cars seats if needed!

Having a reliable vehicle provides better opportunities for low-income working families

Community Auto put 49 low-income working families on the road to success last year. Help us reach our goal of 80 car sales this year! Donate any vehicle to Community Auto and you could receive the maximum tax deduction.
NHCO's Community Auto program makes vehicle ownership affordable to low-income individuals and families experiencing economic hardship so they have a reliable means of transportation for getting to work and to meet other family transportation needs.
What makes us special? Many local agencies accept donated vehicles. However, NHCO puts those vehicles back into the hands of local families who need them. Purchasers receive their cars with a valid PA inspection sticker, a one-year AAA membership, a full tank of gas, and a 6-month warranty. Families will receive a free, new car seat for each child who needs one (thanks to Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for awarding us a $5,000 grant for this purpose). NHCO stands behind every car sold.
Want to donate your car? Donors may drop off the car by appointment or request a pick-up. When calling to inquire about donating a car, please be prepared to provide the year, make and model, as well as the approximate mileage and general condition. Please email us or call 724-443-8300 or fill out our online form.
