Community Auto Helps 13 Families in Need

North Hills Community Outreach’s Community Auto program put 13 low-income families on the road to success in January and February. This is the most vehicles sold in two months since the program’s inception in 2003 and Community Auto hopes to put 35 more families and individuals into “new to them” vehicles by October.

Community Auto is a unique program in Allegheny County. The program makes vehicle ownership affordable to families experiencing economic hardship, so they have a reliable means of transportation for getting to work and to meet other family transportation needs.
