Community Auto’s “Too Big for the Stocking” Car Giveaway
Contestants are low-income individuals with dependent children living within their household, who need a vehicle to reach their place of employment and to perform basic daily functions such as grocery shopping, getting children to school/daycare and medical appointments.
The “Too Big for the Stocking” Giveaway includes:

- New PA Inspection / Emission stickers (Retail Value $75)
- Car Detail (Retail Value $120)
- Oil Change (Retail Value $30)

Contest Guidelines
- Individuals must qualify as low income under federal poverty guidelines as below 250% of poverty level
- Have dependent children living in household
- Must be working or have a written job offer
- Provide 3 months proof if income with application
- Have valid drivers license
- Must be insurable within PA
- Cannot own another car or have one available
- Willing to share their photos and story with the public
- Willing to submit to a criminal background check
Applications must be received by 4 pm on Friday, December 14, 2012 (post mark not acceptable). Mail or hand deliver the application to the following address: 11490 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA 15090. A selection panel will review applications and select the recipient during the week of December 17, 2012.
The Contest Winner will be announced on KDKA TV on December 24 on the Pittsburgh Today Live show
